Dear Spring Hill,

Like many of you, I moved to Williamson County for the amazing public school system. This was not an easy task for a single mom coming from an under-privileged background. Like you, I sacrifice every day to be here because I want the best for my family.

I want to earn your vote because of my actions. I am the only D3 candidate with a history of involvement at this level. I was there to fight to keep our superintendent. I did not passively sit by and hope for the best. Even during this election season, I am still the only candidate who has sacrificed the time to be present at all school board meetings, including the non-televised committee meetings where the real work gets done.
You can trust me to show up for our children come this fall, because I've been doing it for years already. I don't come to you listing political experience with less than satisfactory results. I'm not building a political resume as I have no political ambition outside of serving the public school system and our children. And I don't come to you feigning to be morally superior than my opponents, trying to get your vote through fear.

We don't need politicians on the school board; we need someone who will represent everyone and be the voice of the people. I am not just listing my ideals on the stances below, I am giving ideas on how I am going to achieve them and I openly welcome discussion and questions.

I continually keep my Facebook page updated with the latest news coming from the School Board because I am there in person. I have put in the time this many years because I value hard work and know the best results come from it. Please check it out at Facebook.com/coleman4wcsb

I am asking to earn your vote by working hard for you and your family. I am not going to give lip service  today and then not show up at the meetings. I don't just boast what my values and ideals are - I prove it. And I have been proving it for years.

Your Neighbor,
Christy
