My support of SPED:
1) I support early intervention programs. I support Pre-K.
2) I support the Least Restrictive Enrollment model we currently follow in WCS.
3) Challenging our gifted students - We have made a lot of progress in this area the last few years and I want to see it nurtured and continue to grow.
Funding is going to be an issue this next year; I want to ensure SPED programs do not fall through the cracks.
I will always advocate for your children.
I have a track record of engagement at the school board level. I will be there. I will be present. And I will be an advocate for SPED programs.
